Drop Points

A ‘drop point’ allows our merchants to set up ‘virtual canteens’ at their client locations. A drop point is a fixed location that is associated with a fixed delivery time. Merchants are able to set delivery rounds with a series of drop points so that they are able to maximise their delivery efficiency. If Merchant A wanted to sell more lunches products to Office B, then merchant A could create a drop point; merchant A could guarantee that they would deliver to office B at 13:00 Monday – Friday. Staff at office B would then be able to login to Merchant A’s ordering system (powered by 5loyalty) and pre order their lunch knowing that it would be delivered at 13:00 to a fixed, predetermined location.

Why go multilingal?

As the world becomes increasingly globalized, it is essential for businesses to adapt to the needs of a diverse customer base. This is especially true for restaurants, which rely on customer satisfaction and repeat business to stay afloat. One important way that restaurants can cater to a wider audience is by offering their platform in multiple languages.

Here are some reasons why it is important for a restaurant to allow its platform to be multi-lingual:

  1. Access to a larger customer base: By offering a multi-lingual platform, restaurants can attract customers who may not be fluent in the language of the country they are visiting. This opens up new markets and expands the potential customer base.

  2. Enhanced customer experience: When customers can access a restaurant’s platform in their native language, it makes it easier for them to navigate and understand the menu, ordering process, and other relevant information. This can lead to a better overall dining experience and increased customer satisfaction.

  3. Improved communication: Language barriers can lead to misunderstandings and confusion, which can negatively impact a customer’s experience. By offering a multi-lingual platform, restaurants can ensure that they are effectively communicating with all customers, regardless of their language abilities.

  4. Increased revenue: When a restaurant caters to a wider audience, it can lead to increased revenue. By making it easier for customers to order food and understand the menu, they are more likely to make repeat visits and recommend the restaurant to others.

  5. Competitive advantage: In today’s global market, offering a multi-lingual platform can give restaurants a competitive edge over those that do not. Customers are more likely to choose a restaurant that offers a platform in their native language over one that does not.

In summary, offering a multi-lingual platform is important for restaurants to cater to a diverse customer base, enhance the customer experience, improve communication, increase revenue, and gain a competitive advantage. By investing in a multi-lingual platform, restaurants can ensure that they are meeting the needs of all customers and positioning themselves for long-term success.
